POST ROSE PARADE WALK

TRAIL: (sanction number: 77995)10km long rated 1+ with a 5km option rated 1. The walk is on city sidewalks in the downtown Portland Area. The walk highlights the Rose Festival Parade Floats and will pass by the Waterfront Fun Center and the Dragon Boat Races. Pets welcome except in start area.

I-5 Northbound take the I-405 exit 299B, on the left toward City Center/US-26 W/Beaverton. Merge onto I-405 N. Take exit 2B toward Everett St. Continue on Everett St to NW 14th Ave to Johnson.

Start Point Address / Driving Directions: 
I-5 NORTHBOUND: Take the I-405 exit 299B, on the left towards CITY CENTER/US-26 W/BEAVERTON. Merge onto I-405 N. Take the exit 2B towards EVERETT ST. Continue on Everett St. to NW 14TH AVE to Johnson. REI is on the corner. I-5 Southbound. Take the I-405 exit 302B towards BEAVERTON/US-30 W/ST. HELENS. Merge onto I-405 S. Take the exit 2B towards EVERETT ST. Stay straight to go onto NW 16TH AVE. Turn LEFT onto NW EVERETT ST. Turn LEFT onto NW 14TH AVE. REI is on the corner.You may park in the REI parking structure's 2nd or 3rd

Event Description:  (3+) 10 km walk, 5 K option rated (1+). The 5 K option may be done twice for a 10 K if you don't want to do the stairs. The route will be a little different than before. The walk takes you up a lot of hidden stairways (more stairs than last year as requested) into some elegant old neighborhoods in the West Hills. The route takes in a small portion of Forest Park and the zoo then through the PSU campus. Please carry water.
